Driven grouse shooting can correspond with some of the warmest days of the year, conjuring up images of beautiful still purple moorland, light skies and no need for a raincoat. Often, the reality is that you will be exposed to some extreme weather and end up pretty much braving the elements all day long! As with any day on the peg (or in the butt) it is essential that you are well kitted out, to ensure you can focus your attention on the day and birds in hand.
